Let’s Dance in the City

Now more than ever it is important for artists to take ownership of public spaces, whether they are structures of power, places to gather or historic landmarks.  Dancers respond to the energy of the cities to which they are connected.

Leicester

Helder Delgado moves across the city from Town Hall Square to Jubilee Square. Tia-Monique Uzor dances in the rain at Leicester’s clock tower, as members of the public look on.  Jessica Walker responds to the history and spirit of Bishop Street Methodist Church.
