Supporting Black Artists
There are many opportunities to support Black artists throughout Black History Month. Serendipity’s shop including art prints, hand signed and editioned by the artists from the UK and Europe. Featured artists include Stephen Anthony Davids [SAD] and Patrica Vester.
Stephen Anthony Davids is a British visual graphic artist from East London. He has exhibited extensively in London, New York and Europe. Reoccurring themes and thoughts pervade his story telling capturing child-like views of the world and observations of daily life, masculinity, race, class and social history.
Patricia Vester is an illustrator and artist based in Potsdam, Germany. Alongside commissions, her personal projects include her spot a day blog www.spotaday.blog which she describes as a Black German’s diary about lines and circles, visions and time.
Serendipity’s shop has publications on Black dance, arts and culture featuring contributions from artists, practitioners and academics from the African and African Caribbean Diaspora.
